Oh Where, Oh Where did Obama gO?
Have
you noticed that outside of naming old Washington insiders and has-beens to his
future administration, Obama is nowhere to be found?
When he does appear and
is asked a question, he never answers it directly. Not that that should surprise
anyone. During the campaign the only question he answered was Joe
the Plumber's and Obama regrets it.
It's been a month since the election.
The economy needs direction. Democrats, who have controlled both houses of congress
(even
though Obama voters didn't know that fact) and in two short years have destroyed
the economy, seem unwilling or unable to make decisions. Even Barney Frank with
his lisping, cartoonish voice has been asking, where is Obama?
Obama's stock
answer is that there is only one president. True enough, but unless the democrats
put something in front of George Bush to sign, nothing is going to change. This
may be an epiphany for liberals. They are now realizing that it wasn't Bush that
caused this recession; it was their own democrat party. However, it appears that
the democrats are going to bail out the big three automakers.
The public is
against a bailout of the auto industry. The democrats know this. The Republicans
know it, too. The majority of the Republicans in congress are against these bailouts,
but the democrats have control. The democrats want someone to tell them to bail
out the auto industry so that they can have someone to blame when the voters revolt.
Unfortunately for the democrats, they owe a good deal of their political power
to the unions that have bankrupted the auto industry. It looks like they will
vote to give our hard earned money away to keep the unions happy.
Obama doesn't
want any part of this. Rather than be a leader, the spineless one is hiding in
Chicago. He's just hoping that all of this will fix itself. The problem with that
line of thought is the ones that caused this mess, the democrats, are paid off
by the very people they bail out. There is no end in sight.
Obama's only bright
spot is that this can't get much worse; or can it? The fact is, it was a lot worse
when democrat Jimmy Carter ran the American economy and military into the ground.
It took a real leader, Ronald Reagan, to get America back on its feet. Obama is
poised to institute the very same policies that Jimmy Carter used.
The only
smart thing that Obama has done is what he hasn't done. He didn't "change"
the head of our military defense. He left Robert
Gates as Secretary of Defense.
The sad facts are Obama is an inexperienced
coward. He has never had an original thought. With
the exception of Gates, he has surrounded himself with people from the failed
administrations of Carter and Clinton. Remember, the economy slid into a recession
during the final summer of Clinton's administration. Clinton's distain for the
military and national defense is what led to America's weakening and the numerous
terrorist attacks on American interests during his administration. Then, his VP,
Al Gore wasted precious time by suing in an attempt to steal the presidency and
not allowing for a smooth transition of power. Oh yeah, thanks Clinton Administration
for the childish prank of stealing all the W's off the White House keyboards.
That probably cost tax payers millions of dollars.
Now, where did that little
boy Barry go?
