Cowardly Liberals Hide Behind Religion to Attack America
"Reverend" Fred Phelps and his daughters Shirley Phelps-Roper and Rebekah Phelps-Davis are liberals using religion as shield while they attack America defending itself against terror. The trio lost a civil suit and were charged $11 million in the verdict.

They and their liberal band of hate mongers from the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas would "protest" at the funerals of fallen American military personnel. They would hold signs saying things such as, "Thank God for IEDs (improvised explosive devices)," and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers." They claim their protest is because God kills American soldiers as retribution for America's tolerance of homosexuals.

You may be asking yourself why a liberal group would base its protests on a church that hates homosexuals. The reason is fairly simple. They are liberals and cloak themselves under a banner of religion so that they can spew their hate for America and let religion take the blame.

How do we know they are liberals? A first clue is the fact that the "reverend's" daughters hyphenate their last names. No fundamentalist church member hyphenates their name when married. The next big clue is they attack the surviving families of the military, not homosexuals.

Around the country and federally, laws have been enacted to prevent these ghouls from "protesting" at funerals. In Maryland, no law existed at the time. The grieving father of a fallen military hero brought a civil suit against the cowards and won. The amount, eleven million dollars, was decided on by the jury. The father had made no specified monetary judgment other than to send a message that this behavior won't be tolerated.

An unrepentant Phelps said, "It will take the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals a few minutes to reverse this silly thing." Apparently, the "reverend" is confusing the 4th District with the 9th district. He should try moving his attacks to the Bay Area to be protected by the leftist loonies there. His daughter, Shirley protested the verdict by standing on an American flag holding a sign that read, "God Hates Fag Enablers."

Don't you just love it when liberals are unmasked?
