Democrats and Vote Counting
Hillary's
campaign has finally given a sign that they may end her run for the nomination
next week. TLG stresses "may." Clintons are best known for lying.
Today,
while the DNC gathered to figure out what to do about Florida and Michigan, Hillary
had her followers protesting. The liberal media did their best to keep the camera
in close-up mode to hide its poor showing. It was clear that the crowd was very
small. Maybe there were two or three hundred at the most. They had to be bussed
in to get any protest at all.
The final decision was to seat both state's delegations
and give each delegate a half vote. This upset Hillary.
Hillary maintained that
all votes must count, yet she seemed not to want to include caucus votes that
put Obama ahead of her in the popular vote. Such is typical liberal hypocrisy.
The
fact is Florida and Michigan votes did count, if they were Republican. During
the 2000 fiasco where Gore attempted to sue his way into the White House, the
democrats charged that it was the Republicans causing Al Gore to lose. However,
this time, the democrats had no one to blame, except themselves.
The democrat
candidates all signed agreements not to campaign in Florida and Michigan as the
two states had violated party rules by moving up their primary dates. Of course,
Hillary violated the spirit of that agreement by showing up in Florida for "other
business" and getting a lot of press in doing so.
Back in 2000, the charges
of voter confusion in the general election by democrats voting for the wrong candidate
due to the way the ballots were configured. The problem with that accusation was
the ballot had been designed by the democrats themselves.
So, the votes were
counted, recounted and recounted again a total of four times, even by the liberal
media. On every count and recount, George W Bush came out on top of Al Gore. Al
Gore then filed a lawsuit that was denied by the US Supreme Court.
The democrats
like to say that the US Supreme Court decision to deny Al Gore was close at 5-4.
That's a lie. It was 7-2. The 5-4 decision was simply on how to remedy the situation
after it had already thrown out the liberal Florida Supreme Court's decision as
unconstitutional.
The simple fact with which the democrats still can't accept
is that it wasn't Florida that cost Al Gore the election. It was that Al Gore
couldn't even carry his own state of Tennessee. If Gore had won the state with
the people that knew him best, he would have beaten George W Bush.
Now, what
will Hillary do? Never underestimate the ability of a Clinton to lie, cheat and
steal.
