Such
a Big Ego for Such a Tiny Brain
California's democrat US senator Barbara
Boxer isn't known for her intellect. She's basically known as "Bimbo Boxer."
She's the senate's counterpart to the House's
Nancy Pelosi. Boxer shares another trait with Pelosi. She has an ego that
could fill the Grand Canyon. Apparently, she watched the movie "A Few Good
Men" and decided to give her best Jack Nicholson impression.
Brig.
Gen. Michael Walsh of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers was testifying before Boxer's
Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. Like any polite and well trained
military man, Walsh used the term "ma'am." Military personnel use the
term "sir" when speaking to a male and "ma'am" when speaking
to a female.
A clearly upset Boxer said, "You know, do me a favor,
could you say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am'?"
Walsh responded, "Yes,
ma'am."
Boxer continued, "It's just a thing, I worked so hard
to get that title, so I'd appreciate it, yes, thank you."
Walsh replied,
"Yes, senator."
It's really sad to see people in power in the
federal government that have absolutely no knowledge of military protocol. Obama
didn't know to salute or how. Now, Boxer displays more of her stupidity and ignorance
with a huge helping of ego.
Also, like Pelosi who refuses to apologize for
her lies about the CIA, Boxer refuses to apologize to the general who definitely
worked far harder for his title than a politician from the Bay Area.
