Technologically Challenged
We
got our first hint of it during the campaign. Remember his text
message? Obama had promised to announce his choice for his running mate to
his supporters before anyone else. They registered to receive a text message with
the announcement.
At 3 am on the morning of August 23, 2008, those idiotic supporters
of Obama received their text message announcing that Obama's choice for a running
mate was Joe Biden. However, by then it was old news. It should have been a wake
up call in more ways than one.
The text message was suppose to have been sent
out at three in the afternoon, not three the next morning. What happened is that
Obama's "high-tech" crew didn't understand military time. It's the 24-hour
clock that is used by the military and all things technologically advanced. On
the morning of August 22, 2008, they entered 03:00 (3 am) rather than 15:00 (3
pm). Since it was already past three in the morning for that day, the message
went out the next day at that time. This was some nine hours after they couldn't
figure out what went wrong and made the announcement to the press via conventional
means.
During the campaign that followed, Obama and his supporters ran ads saying
that John McCain couldn't use a computer, implying that he was too stupid. The
truth was that McCain meant that because of his war injuries suffered from being
shot down and held as a prisoner of war for five years in the "Hanoi Hilton,"
he was unable to sit for any length of time and use a keyboard.
Then there is
Obama's constant reliance on the teleprompter. Obama can't speak without it. When
it broke during the campaign, he
couldn't speak. Not too long ago, the wrong speech was loaded into the teleprompter
and Obama started reading someone else's speech. Obama even thanked himself reading
verbatim from the teleprompter before he even realized that there was something
wrong.
When Britain's Prime Minister, Gordon Brown came to visit and they exchanged
gifts, all Obama gave the nearly blind Brown was a set of 25 DVDs of American
movie classics. Even funnier was that the DVDs were coded for Region 1, the United
States and not Region 2 for Europe. So, Brown can't even watch the movies using
his European DVD players.
Just a few days ago, Obama decided that he would answer
questions submitted to him via the internet. Of course, this was phony. All of
the questions were pre-planned and not selected form the internet beyond sampling
them. However, when he went off the teleprompter to answer one of these "random"
questions, he showed just how technologically challenged he is.
The question
had to do with jobs that had been outsourced overseas and when would they come
back to the United States. Obama said that those jobs were not coming back to
the US and that we didn't want them anyway. He said we need new jobs that can't
be outsourced.
Obama then went on and on about "smart boxes" that
would know when you're home is using too much cooling or heating and correct the
temperature. He "reasoned" from this that we would need a lot more electricians
to place the cable to make that a reality.
Apparently, Obama forgot that we
already have "smart boxes." They're called thermostats. However, Obama
was implying that we're too stupid to know how to set our thermostats and that
government would decide when to cool and warm our homes. Even in that totalitarian
mindset, we don't need electricians to place more cable. It could be done from
the existing infrastructure called the internet. Obama must have also forgotten
that Al Gore "invented"
the internet. After all, Al Gore told us that he did.
If these incidents haven't
convinced you by now that Obama is a total buffoon and not the cool dude he pretends
to be, maybe you can remember him not being able to find his way into the Oval
Office. He was trying to open the window, while the door was just a few feet away.
No,
Obama is not cool. He's a dork. He's not high-tech with his Blackberry. He has
it to tell him what to do, what to say and where to go. Sadly, he's just a puppet
for the socialist George Soros who is pulling his strings.
