Tea Parties Across
America
Yesterday,
in cities across America, thousands of people joined together in the streets to
protest the tax-and-spend policies of the Obama administration. Although, the
Obama, lapdog media tried to minimize it, there was no hiding the discontent of
taxpaying America.
Rain, snow, wind, nothing could deter these citizens
from exercising their First Amendment rights against this sham of a government.
Carrying
handmade signs, this was a true grassroots movement. This wasn't born out of talk
radio. It wasn't a phony democrat MoveOn.org stunt. No, these were real Americans.
These were the people that Obama and the democrat controlled congress have been
robbing of their hard earned money.
"Don't Tread On Me" - "I'd
rather live under a bridge than under socialism!" - "Born Free - Taxed
to Death!" - "Taxed Enough Already!" - "Give Me Liberty, Not
Debt!" These were just a few of the slogans.
Patriotic songs were sung;
"Battle Hymn of the Republic," "Star Spangled Banner," "America
the Beautiful," "God Bless America," Chants of "Stop the Spending,"
"No More Taxes," "USA," and "We Won't Pay" rose
from the crowds. Thousands of Americans standing shoulder to shoulder telling
this government that enough is enough.
Obama's radical ACORN organization
had vowed to mount a counter protest while at the same time claiming that they
had no idea that their was a Tea Party movement planned for April 15th. However,
no counter protestors appeared anywhere. Only taxpaying Americans.
The ACORN
protests which drew media attention during the campaign with a few members were
nowhere to be seen. The fact is that ACORN and other left-wing protests are made
up of the same people who are bussed from location to location. They are vastly
outnumbered by taxpaying Americans.
There were no reports of violence. No
riots. No smashing of windows and cars. Just peaceful protests. Most of the biased
liberal media tried to ignore movement. NBC had their network news anchors insult
the protest and CNN reporters who covered the protests argued and shouted down
those they interviewed.
It is clear, that a sleeping giant has been awakened
and there will be hell to pay come election time.
