Preconditions Set for US/Iran Talks - By the Iranians!
Remember during the campaign Obama said that he would sit down and talk with regimes
such as North Korea and Iran without any preconditions? As a matter of fact, in
one of Obama's debates with Senator John McCain, Obama said that former Secretary
of State Henry Kissinger agreed that Obama should meet Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
without preconditions. Interviewed after the debate, Kissinger said Obama had
lied.
Now, after just two months of ineptness by a man who can't speak without
a teleprompter, Obama tells the Iranians that he would like to meet with the Iranians.
In a Persian New Year greeting, Obama, reading from a teleprompter (of course),
said he was ready to meet with the Iranians and discuss a wide range of issues.
The
Iranians, being smarter than Obama voters, know that what Obama says means absolutely
nothing. The Iranians know Obama is spineless. They know he is inexperienced and
even worse for the US, he is inept.
Ahmadinejad wouldn't even address Obama's
overture directly. He sent out a low-level spokesman saying that Iran will not
forget the United States' previous hostility and aggression against Iran. He went
on to basically say that if Obama does what the Iranians want, then they will
listen.
Iran's
supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, set some of the preconditions that Obama
would have to meet before there will be any meaningful talks between the US and
Iran:
- The US must end its support of Israel
- The US must stop accusing
Iran of terrorism
- The US must support Hamas and the Palestinians
- The
US must acknowledge that Iran is not building nuclear weapons
While
candidate Obama only looked like he may be foolish with his ideas about negotiating
with terrorists, the Iranians have removed all doubt; Obama is an absolute idiot.
Not only did the Iranians turn the tables on him, but they now have confirmation
that Obama is a coward. Terrorists only respect one thing: strength; and Obama
doesn't have it.
Being that he is spineless and was raised as a Muslim, by a
Muslim in a Muslim country and educated in Muslim schools, Obama may just acquiesce
to these demands. In any event, it is a clear signal to the Israelis that they
are pretty much on their own with Obama and the democrats in charge.
It's pretty
sad when a terrorist and tyrannical nation can dictate terms of a US surrender
of its foreign policy.
