Obama Surrenders to Taliban
Last
night, Barack Hussein Obama left no doubt that he had snatched defeat from the
jaws of the victory he had inherited from President George W Bush. In a stunning
act of spinelessness, Obama delivered a speech in which he said he would send
30,000 troops, 25% less than his handpicked general had requested more than three
months ago, to Afghanistan after another delay of six months. He then added that
they would come home at the beginning of summer 2011; allowing the Taliban to
simply wait until Obama has completed his retreat in time to campaign for his
reelection.
During the speech which lacked any passion, Obama claimed that he
had not dithered as General McChrystal's request for troops was for the year 2010.
This is an out and out lie. We have lost more troops in Afghanistan under Obama's
watch than at any other time. The request was to immediately add troops. Regardless,
Obama isn't sending any for at least another six months.
Obama first said that
he had to wait to make a decision after the Afghanistan election. A few days after
that lie, the Afghani challenger withdrew from the race and Karzai's election
was certified Obama again delayed. After weeks, Obama said he had to wait until
after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving came and went and last night Obama gave the most
incoherent speech of his life.
His wacko-liberal base is upset that he's sending
any troops. The troops in battle are dismayed at the delay and the lack of support.
The conservatives are angry that it took this long for a spineless decision. Why
send any troops at all when Obama has announced that he will cut and run in 2011?
It
gets worse, folks. Obama, who has never supervised a single employee and a staff,
who like Obama, have never served a day in the military, are going to try and
prosecute a politically correct war. Here are the rumored Obama rules of engagement:
- No
surprise searches
- No nighttime searches
- Villages
are to be warned before a search is conducted
- US troops can not
fire upon the enemy, unless the enemy has fired first
- If by some
stroke of luck that an enemy combatant is captured, they are to be read their
Miranda rights
This is the Obama nightmare. Is it any wonder why every
nation on Earth is laughing at this administration? Is it any wonder why Iran
and North Korea continue to develop nuclear weapons? Is it any wonder why the
Russians and communist Chinese are only giving lip service to sanctions on Iran?
Ah,
but we have a secret weapon! Maybe Obama will broadcast his speeches over loud
public address systems and the Taliban will die laughing.
