NBC Hits Sour Note on Super Bowl Pre-Game
NBC's
biased newsman Matt Lauer angered viewers by interviewing Barack Hussein Obama
during the pre-game show of the Super Bowl. Now, wait, before calling TLG hypocrites
because of TLG's bias, TLG bills itself as opinion of the news, not news in and
of itself.
Here viewers expected to get away from life and its troubles for
a while. Sit down, have a few beers and watch the big game. Part of that is the
pre game show where behind the scenes and trivia rule, but not for NBC.
No,
they put on Matt Lauer asking about how bad things are going to get with the economy
and such. Lauer could have kept it lighthearted, but he did not. He started with
a mother-in-law comment and from there it went downhill. Whether you like Obama
or not, if you were watching NBC it was to see the Super Bowl, not to listen to
Lauer ask Obama about all of the problems for which Obama had no answers.
Apparently,
NBC received thousands of calls and emails from disgruntled viewers. The piece
ended abruptly and the anchor man for the pre-game looked a bit confused and miffed
when they cut back to him.
Virtually no one watches NBC or MSNBC for their news.
This was a cheap stunt to falsely bump up their news ratings with viewers who
tuned in to see the Super Bowl.
