Chief of Stench
Diminutive Rahm Emanuel, Obama's
choice for his Chief of Staff, has a tax problem. This makes it yet another ethics
problem for Obama. Emanuel, a millionaire, has lived rent-free for five years
in an upscale townhouse owned by democrat pollster Stan Greenberg and his wife,
democrat representative Rose DeLauro. Emanuel is claiming that it was just "hospitality"
between colleagues.
Well, of course Emanuel didn't pay rent! The area is not
zoned for rentals. Maybe it's zoned for bums and crooks like most everyone who
works for Obama. Never mind that Emanuel sent Greenberg a lot of business. Ethics
rules don't apply to democrats, only Republicans.
Emanuel failed to report the
benefit to the IRS and failed to get the required waiver for such a large gift
from the House Standards Committee.
Obama claimed that his administration would
have transparency. Maybe Obama meant that all of the dirty deals and corruption
would be viewable. Like he and Michelle taking Air Force One on a Valentine's
Day date to Chicago at taxpayer expense.
