Aren't You Glad DEMOCRATS are in Control?
Remember after hurricane Katrina a congressman diverting an entire National Guard relief convoy to his home to pick up "something?" DEMOCRATS want you to forget, but TLG won't let you. It was DEMOCRAT congressman William Jefferson.

William Jefferson, DEMOCRAT from Louisiana, had been caught on video accepting a $100,000 bribe. A raid in his home found $90,000 of it wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in frozen food containers in $10,000 increments in his freezer. Of course, the Louisiana DEMOCRAT said that this was a normal way to store money.

Any Republican would have been convicted and imprisoned, but William Jefferson is a DEMOCRAT, from the DEMOCRAT party. Did we mention he was a DEMOCRAT? At least he was kicked off the Ways and Means committee after he refused to resign. At the time, Republicans were still in control of both houses.

Now that DEMOCRATS are in control, Nancy Pelosi, DEMOCRAT from California, is going to appoint him to the Homeland Security panel. It appears that the DEMOCRATS feel that they can get away with anything they want. After all, the American voters gave them a mandate to tax, steal and spend your money any way they want.

Hey America, you get the government you deserve. Now, aren't you glad you voted DEMOCRAT?
