How Do You Like the Dems So Far?
Well, the "First 100 Hours" was an absolute bust. Hey, but it was only 100 hours. It's been over 120 days now, since the democrats took over both houses of congress.
After campaigning that they would lower gas prices and get out of Iraq, the democrats have just the opposite to show as their achievements. Gas prices and taxes are at an all time high. As for the democrats wanting to surrender to the terrorists, that wily Republican George W has snookered them again!
Last week, the democrats surrendered, as is their nature, but they surrendered to George W, not the terrorists. Bush quickly signed the military spending bill without any time tables for withdrawal from the war on terror.
Their policies have resulted in higher taxes, higher prices on fuel, higher inflation and a depressed housing market and embolden terrorists. They actually talk about running against George W Bush in 2008. Hello! Bush isn't running in 2008. They know that, so why do they persist?
They do so, because the only way they can win is via emotions, not logic. They use the far-left's hate of George Bush to propel them into office. Surprise, Bush is a non-issue. Then they have has-beens like Carter and Gore to open their big mouths and show them for the fools that they really are.
Carter recently spoke about the current Bush administration as being the worst in history. Oops, he forgot about his own as everyone was quick to remind him. Now, science has shown an inverse relationship between CO2 and supposed global warming. It seems that the more CO2 there has been in the atmosphere, the cooler the weather has actually been. So much for Al "Hot Air" Gore.
Yes, the democrats are about to implode much like they did in 1994. Here's why. Iraq, the bad news they love to use, will be at the very least a non-issue in 2008 and probably a major plus for the Republicans. Obama and Clinton will have politically bloodied each other senseless. The democrats will have controlled the houses of congress for almost two years with nothing but misery to show for it. Their wacko far-left base will abandon them for someone like Ralph Nader allowing a Republican leader to emerge.
Recently, the socialists have been kicked out of power in both France and Canada. The democrats love to use those two countries as examples of how the US should be modeled. Now, both are led by conservatives.
So, how do you liberals like the democrats, now?
