The Second Amendment
The Only Amendment that Protects Your Constitutional Rights

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Liberals have a really hard time understanding this amendment. They obviously don't understand the meaning of the individual words and phrases. The word "people" is found nine times in the US Constitution. Only in the Second Amendment do liberals not understand its meaning. If liberals interpreted the Second Amendment the way they have interpreted the First Amendment, every person in the US would be required to be armed at all times.

Let's help them comprehend its true meaning. It really doesn't take a Constitutional scholar to understand it.

Definitions:

"Well regulated"
A substantial amount

"Militia"
An army of, by and for the people

"Being necessary"
A need, a requirement

"Security of a free State"
The protection of individual rights within a State from a tyrannical government either foreign or domestic

"The right of the people"
The absolute guarantee of the ability of US citizens

"To keep and bear arms"
To own, store and carry firearms

"Shall not be infringed"
Will not be outlawed

So, let's read it again:

"A substantial army of the people is required to protect the citizens from a loss of freedom from their own government and/or a foreign government; therefore all legal US citizens are guaranteed the ability of owning, storing and carrying firearms and this ability can not be outlawed in part or in full."

Of course, the forefathers stated it much more eloquently. Liberals try to sway the ignorant, the stupid and educated idiots into abolishing this law. Why? They know an unarmed society is the only society they can enslave with their socialism. As history has proven, socialism has failed every time it has been attempted.
