Hillary Running Scared
Hillary Clinton, the woman who still claims there is a "vast right-wing conspiracy," is campaigning out of fear rather than reason. Her internal polling must show her trailing with Hispanic voters.
She tried to drive a wedge between Florida's Cuban residents and the GOP. Hillary twisted Fred Thompson's words regarding his opposition to the failed immigration bill. Thompson said, "I don't imagine they're coming here to bring greetings from Castro. We're living in the era of the suitcase bomb." He was speaking of Cuban spies and how easily they could infiltrate the US, if the new immigration bill passed in its current form.
Hillary said of Thompson, "I was appalled when one of the people running for or about to run for the Republican nomination talked about Cuban refugees as potential terrorists. Apparently he doesn't have a lot of experience in Florida or anywhere else, and doesn't know a lot of Cuban-Americans."
Oh really? Fred Thompson is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a Visiting Fellow of the American Enterprise Institute which researches national security. He was also a senator from Tennessee. Hillary Clinton is famous for the Whitewater real estate scandal, making $100,000 on one cattle futures transaction, Travelgate, attempting to take over the healthcare industry, denying that Bill was having affairs while she was attempting to destroy his mistresses and baking cookies.
The only time Hillary baked cookies was when they were from scratch, right out of the Pillsbury dough tube. She is a phony.
Hillary is scared to death of the Republican born in Alabama. This is evidenced by the fact that Fred Thompson hasn't officially announced his candidacy. Hillary should probably concern herself with getting her party's nomination.
Florida's Cuban voters are not stupid and won't be fooled with her attacks. Other Hispanic groups already favor democrats. If you'll notice, most groups that vote democrat depend on government handouts. That's why they continue to be oppressed. Cuban immigrants know the price of freedom and aren't as easily misled.
It is highly doubtful that Hillary will become president. Although, her husband was just as corrupt as her, he is likeable, while Hillary is not. She's shrill, arrogant and as she speaks more, it has become painfully obvious that she is far from the "smartest woman in the world." If Hillary became president, it would be for one term, if that, and a setback for the possibility of another woman in the White House for decades to come.
