House of Cards Beginning to Fall
Out
of the slime of Chicago politics, Barack Hussein Obama emerged unscathed; or did
he? Rod Blagojevich, the now impeached
and ousted governor of Illinois, appointed Roland Burris to Obama's vacated US
senate seat. Angry senate democrats vowed that they would refuse to confirm Burris.
Even the Illinois Secretary of State refused to endorse the appointment. In the
end, Burris was seated.
Burris, a soft spoken man, is also not very bright.
This was probably his last chance to become a US senator. Anyone with an ounce
of decency or common sense would have rejected the tainted appointment. However,
these are democrats.
Burris has just "amended" the statement he gave
at his confirmation hearing. Federal investigators advised Burris that they have
him on tape discussing with Blagojevich and/or his agents a demand of $10,000
for the vacated seat. Burris has now admitted that. Burris also is now admitting
that he raised a lot of money for Blagojevich. As you will see, Burris is not
only not very bright, but he is downright stupid.
So, why would Burris take
a chance on this appointment? Outside of personal greed, he must know something
that would be damaging to those in power. He must believe that those in power
know that he knows something and that made Burris think that he was untouchable.
Then again, maybe he's just really stupid.
The Blagojevich debacle is just simmering.
It will soon boil over as desperate men will do desperate things. Currently, the
hot issue is the faltering economy. In short order, the American people will soon
become angry. They see that the ones that have caused this are getting rich, not
paying taxes and abusing power. As Burris goes down in flames and as Blagojevich
gets closer to being brought to trial, they will start naming names.
If anyone
thinks that Barack Hussein Obama wasn't part of this mess, they need only look
at his
associates. They were the tip of the political iceberg that a slim majority
of voters chose to ignore. Like the Titanic, the democrats are going down and
it won't be pretty.
