There They Go Again
Those are the words that President Ronald Reagan would probably use to describe the democrats, if he were alive today. Just when you think the democrats can't say anything more stupid, along comes Harry Reid followed by Joe Biden.
Harry Reid, Nevada democrat, stuck it to America and to our troops. True to liberal form, the senate democrat majority leader raised up the white flag and surrendered to terrorists. On April 19, Reid said, "...this war (on terror) is lost."
Reid must have forgotten that we have captured or killed some of the most notorious terrorists of all time. What will Reid say when bin Laden is captured? After all, that is the biggest political fear the democrats have. Capturing bin Laden will have little effect on the actual war on terror, but it will be a political doomsday for the democrats.
Since "this war is lost" and Reid wants us to surrender, does that mean our troops should lay down their weapons and allow themselves to be beheaded by the butchers of freedom? Yes, that's true liberal leadership.
Then there's democrat Joe Biden. Probably the biggest political blowhard the democrats have next to their party's leader, Howard Dean. Biden went on a diatribe rant April 20, blaming Republicans for just about everything:
"I would argue, since 1994 with the Gingrich revolution, just take a look at Iraq, Venezuela, Katrina, what's gone down at Virginia Tech, Darfur, Imus. Take a look. This didn't happen accidentally, all these things..."
Maybe Biden should have gone back just a bit further, to 1993 and the massacre at Waco, Texas. By the way, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Janet Reno were running the show from 1993 to 2000. The Republican revolution of 1994 was due to voter revolt at the tax-and-spend policies of the democrats, who had held power of both houses for forty years.
Just how Biden connects the mass murder at Virginia Tech by a lone, deranged maniac to the Republicans, is unclear. He even tries to blame disc jockey Don Imus' racial slur on the Republicans. Someone should remind the lunatic senator from Delaware that Imus is a far-left liberal. Biden even blames a hurricane on the Republicans. He spoke not a word of the 60 years that democrats have controlled Louisiana via entitlements and oppression.
Venezuela? Biden must be referring to dictator Hugo Chavez. Chavez says virtually the same things about Bush that the democrats, such as Biden, have been saying about Bush. Again, Biden needs a little history lesson. Chavez came to power on Clinton's watch.
Iraq? It's difficult for the Commander in Chief to prosecute a war when the legislative branch is offering to surrender to the enemy. An enemy, by the way, that will accept the death of all Americans as its only condition of surrender.
Haven't we heard enough from these spineless liberals who will say and do anything no matter how anti-American, just to be elected? A backlash is coming and it will be in 2008.TLG
