Pelosi Caught in Her Own Web of Deceit
Nancy Pelosi, the democrat loudmouth of the House, called for a "truth commission" while urging Obama to prosecute anyone who "abused" terrorist prisoners. Her goal is to prosecute former President George W Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney. However, being the mental midget that she is her plan has exploded in her plastic-filled face.

As usual, democrats forget that they have had a hand in the War on Terror. Pelosi was reminded that she and her fellow democrats were briefed in 2002 by the CIA on Enhanced Interrogation Techniques that included waterboarding. Pelosi and the democrats did not offer any objections at the time. None of democrats thought that the techniques were torture and some even said that they didn't think that the techniques were harsh enough.

Pelosi did what all liberals do when caught; she lied. She claimed that she was never told about waterboarding during the 2002 briefing. However, in 2007, the Washington Times reported that Pelosi and other democrats had indeed been briefed on the techniques by the CIA in a secret meeting.

So, Pelosi did what all liberals do when caught lying; she spins and parses her words. Pelosi then changed her story, saying that, "We were not - I repeat - were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used." Since she can no longer deny that she was briefed, her implication now is that she was briefed on the techniques, but wasn't told that they were being used.

This is where liberal "logic" becomes absurd. One would think if Pelosi was telling the truth that she or one of her other democrat liberals would have asked whether or not the techniques are being used or have been used. Any reasonable person would also wonder why they are being briefed on Enhanced Interrogation Techniques in a secret meeting, if they were not being used.

Pelosi has done what countless other democrats have done when caught. She lies, then tries to make excuses and would rather be considered ignorant and stupid than dishonest. Unfortunately, that type of spin always proves the democrat to be all three,

When the CIA gives a secret briefing to congress, security is tight. They are not allowed to take notes or otherwise record the event. So, Pelosi tried to hide behind that code of secrecy, but there was just one problem. Her idiot leader, Obama, had already released the memos that detailed the Enhanced Interrogation Techniques. They are no longer secret which removes the veil of secrecy from the content of the 2002 CIA briefing.

Fortunately for Pelosi, the democrats control the congress. Had she been a Republican, she would have been forced to resign. However, 2010 isn't that far away and it looks as though the democrats may lose control of both the Senate and the House. She may be close to the end of her shameful career.
