Passing the Buck
Obama spent last night preaching to his democrat choir (caucus), blaming everyone
and everything but himself and his party for the economic mess that the democrats
brought to America in just two short years of controlling both houses of congress.
He
started off by praising Nancy Pelosi,
"I want to acknowledge the great Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who
has proven to be an extraordinary leader for the American people." Yes, the
same Nancy Pelosi that has been repeatedly saying that each month without an economic
stimulus bill being past, "500 million Americans lose their jobs."
Obama
went on and on with a litany of how the trillion dollar spending free for all
will save the country from a "catastrophe." He said, "Don't come
to table with the same tired arguments and worn ideas that helped create this
crisis." The democrats in attendance applauded not realizing that it is they
who come in with the same old tired plan of taxing and spending.
Remember just
before the election we were told that something must be done immediately or the
country would face disaster? The bill failed and there was no disaster. After
the bill passed, Bush released about $350 billion and then at Obama's request,
another $350 billion just before Obama took office. Now, no one can account for
the money and the democrats want even more.
The fact is no nation has ever taxed
itself into prosperity and no nation has ever spent itself into prosperity. However,
many nations have taxed and spent themselves into a depression. Most recently,
Japan did exactly what Obama and the democrats want to do. The Japanese spent
years wallowing in a recession. Looking further back, like Bush, Hoover and a
single bad economic year to end his presidency. It took democrat Franklin Delano
Roosevelt to tax and spend this country into a deep depression.
Obama couldn't
resist blaming Bush when he said, "First of all I found this deficit when
I showed up. I found this national debt doubled wrapped in a big bow waiting for
me when I stepped into the Oval Office." Hey, Obama, that present was from
you and your democrat friends in congress that took only two years to tank this
economy knowing it was the only way to get you elected. Also, it was you, Obama,
who voted "present" rather than taking a stand on the issues dozens
and dozens and dozens of times. It was your friends like democrats Barney Frank
and Chris Dodd and your own economic advisor Franklin Raines that looted Fannie
Mae of millions and millions of dollars.
Finally, not following his teleprompter,
Obama got off track as he usually does. Just like his conversation with Joe
the Plumber and admitting that he wants to "spread your wealth around,"
Obama let the truth slip out of his inept lips. He said, "This is not a stimulus
bill, this is a spending bill. What do you think a stimulus is? That's the whole
point!"
No, Obama, spending in and of itself does not stimulate the economy
when the money that is being spent is virtually counterfeit. A true leader would
empower the people, not oppress them. You should be ashamed of yourself, Obama.
You, who have no clue, are doomed to repeat the failed history of your fellow
democrats. You who has surrounded himself with a terrorist, racists, a felon and
tax cheats and even put one in charge of the IRS, has the "audacity"
to claim the high ground. Why not save us all a lot of trouble and resign?

Hussein Obama - The Audacity of Being a Dope.
