Great Satan? No, Great Revisionist
Liberal film maker Oliver Stone was called the "Great Satan" by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as Stone's offer to make a film about the Iranian dictator was rejected. The Iranians acknowledge that Stone is part of the opposition in the US, however the opposition is still part of the "Great Satan."
Stone, known for twisting history in such films as JFK, and his liberal view of the world in movies such Born on the Fourth of July, said, "I have been called a lot of things, but never a Great Satan. I wish the Iranian people well, and only hope their experience with an inept, rigid ideologue president goes better than ours."
Which president of our would that be, Mr. Stone? Of course, Stone was speaking of George W. The rejected movie man attempted to insult both leaders by comparing them. If Oliver Stone was an Iranian film maker and said such a thing, there is no doubt that Ahmadinejad would have Stone imprisoned or worse.
Liberals such as Stone love to make money by attacking America and its way of life. Being the true hypocrites they are, they hide behind the First Amendment while attacking its very foundation.
Stone isn't used to being rejected, especially by egomaniacs. For instance, Stone and Castro were gushing all over each other in his making of Commandante, the documentary portraying Castro as a nice guy. HBO first scheduled to release it in April of 2003. It had to be delayed because at that same time, nice guy Castro arrested 75 dissidents and imprisoned them. He then executed three who tried to escape his communist paradise.
Stone had to explain his dealings with Cuba and violating the embargo against the ruthless dictator just as Michael Moore has been required to do for Sick-o. Of course, the government's investigation of Stone didn't make the news because democrat Bill Clinton was president at the time.
The Iranians are the perfect example for liberals. They don't care what kind of an American you are, they want you dead. The liberal reaction is that we must understand them. If only we could understand why they hate us so much, we could be friends. Let TLG clear up the mystery for our liberal friends so they can understand. They hate us because we are still breathing. If liberals truly understood the world, they wouldn't be liberals.
