The Obama Recession - Do the Math
It
seems that every time Obama opens his mouth about the economy, it gets worse.
Yesterday, the market plummeted 251 points to its lowest level since the Clinton
recession of 1997.
The problem is Obama's math doesn't add up. First he and
the democrats ram through a spending package, that no one was allowed to read,
that will cost over a trillion dollars. Contrary to Obama's lies, it contains
virtually no stimulus incentives; plus, it's filled with earmarks.
Then there's
Obama's $75 billion mortgage rescue plan. Nine million mortgages are either in
foreclosure or the verge of it. Do the math. On average, each mortgage would get
about $8,300. Yep, that's it.
Wait! Let's not forget about the whopping $13
tax credit you'll get starting on April Fools' Day.
Obama, who ran his
election on being able to fix the economy, is always sure to remind everyone that
he "inherited" this economy. The fact is that it was he and the democrats
that created this economy. George W Bush took the recession started by the Clinton
administration and turned it around. It wasn't until the democrats took control
of both houses of congress in 2006 that things started to unravel. Let's also
not forget that Obama was in congress, or at least was supposed to be. He voted
"present" umpteen times.
The democrats with the willing help of the
media pounded the public with doom and gloom that simply became a self fulfilling
prophecy. The democrats helped it get started by looting Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac while attacking regulators that warned that the institutions were in trouble.
Now,
Obama is going to bail out a small percentage of the 9 million mortgages in trouble.
The assistance will be focused on five states; California, Florida, Nevada, Arizona
and Michigan. If the home is worth $500,000 or more, forget it; you're not eligible.
Obama's logic is that houses of that value must belong to the "rich."
Sorry, Obama, that's about the average price of a home in California and that's
after the democrats devalued the housing market.
This Obama administration has
absolutely no clue to what it is doing. It came to power by creating a "crisis"
that didn't exist saying that they were the only ones who could "fix"
it. Now, they're stuck and they respond by raising taxes in the middle of a deep
recession that is continuing its downward spiral.
Here's a news flash for Obama
and the democrats...oh, and for traitor Republican Schwarzenegger: Taxes impede
things. That's why they tax smoking, to make people stop. They tax gas to make
you use less. So, guess what income tax and sales taxes do? They cause you to
earn less and buy less.
Obama says he wants to cut the deficit in half. Well,
actually, he qualifies that statement by saying the "deficit I inherited."
So, he may not be counting the trillions that he is going to add to the deficit.
Obama,
the inept one, should be thrown out of office along with the democrats and any
Republican traitors. TLG will remind you of who they are come election time. However,
you're probably already making your own list.
Next, this socialist moron will
be moving to nationalize healthcare. If you're unhappy with your current healthcare,
just wait to see how bad the federal government will make it. If you're happy
with your healthcare, soon you'll be paying even more and getting far less in
return. After all, you'll need to subsidize the illegal aliens and those who choose
not to work even further than you already do.
Those of you who are still Obama
supporters may want to consider something. During this recession one business
has seen a 48% boost in business. It's the gun industry. Obama is still anti-Second
Amendment. As the economy tanks further, crime will increase. Are you counting
on the government to protect you? Look what the democrats did in New Orleans after
Katrina hit. They confiscated legal firearms from the law abiding citizens and
left them as unarmed victims. Those buying guns today are not counting on the
government to save them and they are not giving up their Second Amendment rights.
They also realize that the Second Amendment was established not only to defend
the country, but to defend its citizens from a government that has turned tyrannical.
Our
forefathers realized that someone like Obama may come along. Revolution is in
the air. This country's independence was founded on tax revolt and it will rise
again via tax revolt. They will not stifle our free speech and they sure as hell
won't be allowed to enslave us. Throw the bums out of office.
