Obama Gets $9 Million While Democrat Policies Hit Economy
Last
Tuesday, Obama highlighted his broken campaign promise of not accepting money
from special interests. BS (Barbara
Streisand) threw a party that cost attendees $28,000 apiece for a small steak
and a picture of themselves with Lord Obama. If they wanted to hear more BS, they
had to fork over another $2500. So, for just over $30,000 they got a crummy dinner,
a souvenir picture of themselves with a man people will forget about after November
and listen to a has-been singer who hasn't had a hit since about 1974, about the
time Joe Biden started in congress.
By the way, where is Joe
Biden? Has Obama dumped him? Maybe they just have asked him to shut up for
the remainder of the campaign. Too bad, he always had something stupid, yet entertaining
to say.
Anyway,
the usual gang of Hollywood's leftist elitists showed up mainly because they have
nothing else to do and they really think they are politically savvy. Just living
proof that you don't have to be smart to be rich.
At the same time, America's
economy was rocked the day before by the failings of economic giants Lehman Brothers,
Merrill Lynch and AIG. The reason they failed is that their business depended
on mortgage securities. Since the democrats took over congress and decided that
everyone should be able to get a loan, whether or not they can afford one, America
has seen a historic rise in foreclosures. Obama should be proud that he was able
to serve as a US senator and be partly to blame for this.
So, while thousands
of Americans lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers, Obama with the help of BS collected
$9 million to continue his campaign of lies and deceit. If you'll recall, Obama
promised to adhere to the spirit of campaign finance reform and not accept special
interest money and by also joining McCain in only using public funding. It was
an obvious lie. His coffers would otherwise be as empty as his suit.
Obama supporters,
being the ignorant and mindless liberals that they are, think that Obama not accepting
public financing of the campaign is a good thing. They think it comes from taxes.
No, it comes from voluntary contributions. If you have ever filled out your tax
form you've seen the box that asks you to donate to the presidential campaign
fund. Of course, many supporters of Obama rely on government entitlements and
don't have a job and therefore already pay no taxes and have no clue.
