No Teleprompter, No Class
Last
night, Obama went on the Jay Leno show. It's supposed to be a comedy show, but
it was anything, but funny. After only two short months, Obama's administration
is a failure and his sagging poll numbers are more worrisome to him than your
evaporating 401K.
As usual, Leno tried to keep things lighthearted and joked
to Obama asking if he had eliminated the White House bowling alley. (If you'll
recall, during the campaign Obama tried to show what an average guy he is by bowling.
After a couple of gutter-balls, the cameras stopped running.) Obama told Leno
that he bowled a score of 129 the other day. The friendly audience cheered the
low score as it was far better than his previous gutter-ball game.
Obama, trying
to play to the audience, without a teleprompter telling him what to say, described
his bowling skills by saying, "It's like (pause) it was like Special Olympics,
or something."
Predictably, the main stream liberal press didn't mention
it and liberals when asked about it defended Obama's ineptness. However, Obama
called the head of the Special Olympics from Air Force One and apologized. Had
this been President Bush, Governor Palin or any conservative saying what Obama
had said, there would have been hell to pay.
This is just another example of
the double standard and liberal bias of the media and that Obama can't speak properly
without a teleprompter. The country would do much better, if Obama would go into
the White House, close the door and not come out or speak until his term had expired.
