A Glimpse at the Liberal Media's Agenda
After over a year, the Duke lacrosse players were declared innocent of rape and all charges were dropped by the North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper.

The prosecutor, Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong, a democrat up for reelection, started a high-profile rape case against clean-cut Duke University lacrosse players for allegedly raping a black stripper at a party.

Nifong ram-rodded his case before a grand jury using the ever changing and contradictory stories from the alleged "victim." His photo lineup consisted of only players from the Duke lacrosse team, so no matter who the "victim" chose, it would be a Duke team member.

The "victim," Crystal Gail Mangum, had a history of making similar false allegations and a criminal record. However, this was an election year and Nifong had a racially charged case that he knew would make the headlines.

Update 06/16/2007 Mike Nifong resigned and was subsequently disbarred after being found guilty of intentional misconduct. The committee found that Nifong had used "dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation" in an attempt to boost his chances for election to DA in Durham COunty, North Carolina.

The liberal media went into overdrive. They salivated at the story. It had everything they wanted and more. There was sex, violence, racial differences and affluent white male students charged with rape of a black woman. Best of all, one of their own, liberal democrat Mike Nifong was up for reelection.

Nifong hid DNA evidence that exonerated the Duke players. He ignored the fact that Mangum's stories contradicted known facts. Worst of all, the liberal media never questioned these contradictions. They quickly plastered newspapers and TV screens with the Duke players' images charging them as rapists.

As usual, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were there to flame the racial component. Neither Jackson nor Sharpton have real jobs and therefore no accountability. They both have checkered pasts, but the black community continues to allow these men to be their speakers.

Nifong was reelected. What he didn't count on was the truth coming to light as it always does. Mangum is certified as the liar she is. Nifong's career is over. Sharpton and Jackson were shown for the fools that they truly are. The liberal media are shown for what they are, liberal liars.

Now, this should make you think. If the liberal media can knowingly lie about innocent students, they can lie about anything. Rarely are they caught or held responsible. One rare exception ended the career of liberal newsman Dan Rather. Then the slew of New York Times writers that were found making up stories that never happened.

It's time to open your eyes to the agenda of the left that controls most of the media. From global warming to Iraq to politics, they lie to push forward an agenda that includes putting lying liberals, such as Mike Nifong, into power over your lives.
