Want to Get Away with Murder?
First, move to Tennessee. Shoot your spouse in the back with a shotgun, while he's asleep in bed, make sure you have a jury of hillbillies, and lastly, make sure you have democrat Judge J. Weber McCraw presiding over your trial.

Judge J. Weber McCraw sentenced convicted and self-confessed killer Mary Winkler to virtually 60 days for shooting her preacher husband in the back with a shotgun while he slept. The jury found her guilty not of murder, but voluntary manslaughter.

You see, Mary, who was captured on the run hundreds of miles away with her children in her mini-van, said she was really sorry. After all, that's all that matters to liberals. They want to hear that you're sorry for committing the crime. She then claimed that her now dead husband abused her and made her look at pornography and perform "unnatural sex." Did Ms. Winkler ever hear of divorce? No, then she wouldn't get everything of his, only most everything.

Of course, Matthew Winkler, was unavailable to defend himself. However, that is the liberal way. Turn the killer into the victim. Let's all feel sorry for Mary. Boo-hoo-hoo.

Now, even though Mary had a jury of Tennessee idiots, Judge Weber still could have sentenced the self confessed killer to six years. But, no, he is a liberal democrat and gave her three years. However, Mary has been in jail for 210 days and with good behavior (she hasn't killed in jail) she is eligible for only 67 days. 60 of those days could be in a mental facility, not prison.

Now, you may wonder how did a liberal hick judge such as Weber get to where he is. Well, he was appointed by democrat hillbilly governor Phil Bredesen.

Mary is fighting her in-laws for custody of her three children. Her argument is that she is the children's only surviving parent and that she is not a murderer, only a voluntary killer of an innocent man, the children's father.

Mary will probably get her way. Who knows, maybe they're all related?
