Short-Term Memory Loss
Remember, not too long ago, when Obama was running for office against Senator
John McCain? Last September, McCain said, that the "fundamentals of the economy
are strong." Obama pounced on the statement and said, "Senator McCain,
what economy are you talking about?" McCain was talking about our system
of capitalism, before Obama moved our economy toward a socialist agenda of virtually
nationalizing everything.
After Obama and the democrats took over both houses
of congress in 2006, they forced their economy-destroying bills through congress
while they continued to loot institutions such as Fannie Mae. By 2007, the democrat-controlled
economy was in shambles; right where they wanted it. Obama then ran his campaign
on an economy that he wrongly blamed on George W Bush.
Obama said that McCain
was "out of touch." Obama said that McCain was "incapable of understanding"
this economic "crisis." Obama continued his "crisis" mantra
until the end of last week.
Even after the election, Obama continued to campaign
on that theme. He has bad-mouthed the economy every chance he's had. He continually
lies, saying it's the "economy I inherited." In actuality, it is the
economy he helped create. Since his election, the Market has dropped some 3,000
points and he's spent over two trillion dollars in less than two months.
Obama
has repeatedly said that this economy is the worst since the Great Depression.
It's not. We need only look as far back as democrat Jimmy Carter's administration
with its double-digit inflation and double-digit unemployment and his ever rising
"Misery Index." Obama claimed that this economy may not be able to recover.
Obama has repeatedly said that it will get a lot worse before it gets better and
that we can't have the American way of life.
Today, all that has changed. Someone
must have hacked into Obama's teleprompter because now Obama says that the economy
isn't so bad. He says things are looking better. This past weekend, Obama sent
his minions out on the Sunday TV talk show circuit to spread his new message.
What
is Obama's "new" message? It's the same one that McCain had a mere five
months ago. Obama now says that "all the fundamentally sound aspects of our
economy" are in focus.
It's now time to ask Obama a question: Hey, Barry,
to what economy are you referring? The capitalist one that was fine before you
and your corrupt democrat friends drove it into the ground or the socialist one
you are creating that doesn't have a chance of succeeding?
Obama, you are nothing
but a socialist liar and a cheat. You keep your falling poll numbers and we'll
keep this stinking economy, until it kills your political career. Soon, we'll
all have short "term" memory loss; as in not remembering your short
"term" in office. Then, we'll get back to business.
