Obama's Healthcare
Scam on Life Support
Town
hall meeting after town hall meeting, Obama's healthcare bill, which he still
hasn't bothered to read, is being rejected. It has gotten so bad that Obama's
own poll numbers have fallen to an approval rate of just 48% and a disapproval
rate of 52%. That's a negative four. The plan itself fares far worse in the polls.
The more Obama speaks, the lower the poll numbers go. Even Obama's own phony town
hall meeting couldn't give this scam a boost. It was really pathetic to hear the
choreographed chants of "Yes we can." Most viewers were thinking, "No
we won't!" This is probably not the way the democrats wanted to spend their
summer vacation. This is not about healthcare. This is an attempt at controlling
your very existence. The people are actually reading the bill (H.R.
3200). They aren't stupid.
As mentioned this morning in this commentary,
Obama's "town hall" meeting was chorographed and phony. At one point,
Obama called on an 11-year-old girl named Julia Hall. The youngster read from
a prepared statement mentioning "mean signs" outside as she was walking
into the meeting. As it turns out, she is the daughter of an Obama supporter who
has donated a great deal of money to Obama and has been with the family and Joe
Biden. So, it is now clear that the event was completely staged.
One funny thing was that Obama did what he usually does without a teleprompter,
he says what's on his feeble mind. This time, in a Biden-like moment,
Obama said, "People say, well, how can a private company compete against
the government? If you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine. Right?
No, they are. I mean, it's the post office that's always having problems." Obama
expects the American public to believe that an administration that can't run a
program as simple as Cash for Clunkers or the post office is somehow going to
be able to run healthcare for the entire country. |
Obama has
the "audacity" to lie to our faces. He denies what is actually written
in the bill. He and the democrats then attack the voters. Obama tells them to
shut up and get out of the way. Nancy
Pelosi calls you Nazis. John Dingell calls you members of the KKK. Obama calls
for union thugs to attend the meeting and they beat up the sick and elderly. A
man who voiced his opposition to Obama's plan and whose child is in a wheelchair
gets threatened at his home in the middle of the night.
Obama claims that
this plan will give you the same coverage that congress gets. If the plan is so
good, why does congress exempt themselves from it? Obama claims that you'll have
a choice. Then why is he going to fine you, if you don't join his plan? If Obama
truly wants you to have a plan as good as his and congress' and wants you to have
a choice, then why a 1000+ page bill? Why not a one-page bill that simply says,
"All citizens are now eligible for the same healthcare that congress receives
for free and you can still keep your own plan, if you want?"
If you'll
recall, it's the democrats always using the scare tactic of claiming that the
Republicans are going to take away Medicare. Now, we see that the democrats are
the ones actually robbing from it and threatening to have you end your life early,
if they so decide.
Even the liberal lapdog organization AARP is backing
away from Obama. Thousands of their members have canceled their membership in
protest. The AARP has come out saying that Obama lied when he said that AARP backed
his scheme.
The democrats are going to force this bill down our throats.
This is not representation. The people have spoken and the people are rejecting
this scam. If the democrats go ahead and ignore the people for whom they work,
they will be lighting the fuse to the New American Revolution. Don't Tread On
