Looking for Change? Don't Look at the Democrats
So,
you're looking for change in America! That's what America said and did when they
voted for democrats to take over both houses in congress. Their leader, Nancy
Pelosi, promised that she had a plan regarding high gas prices. It was a little
over $2 per gallon at the time. Everyone assumed that she and the democrats would
lower gas prices. Now, they are more than double.
The democrats also campaigned
on the economy. It was growing. After about a year of democrats in control, the
mortgage crisis hit America. It turns out that the democrats who had control of
the country's finance committees had sweetheart deals and got cheap loans from
the very mortgage companies foreclosing on a record number of homeowners. This
includes the Messiah, Barack Obama.
Obama received a special loan rate for a
jumbo loan on his home. He calls it "competitive." Make no mistake,
it was a bribe. Now, Obama and his friends want to bail out the very companies
that made the questionable loans that defaulted. The same companies that gave
the democrat congressional leaders favorable treatment.
Probably the democrats'
biggest claim was ending the war in Iraq, if they were elected to take over congress.
What actually happened is they tried to keep it going while their friends in the
liberal media painted a false picture of doom and gloom. It backfired on the democrats.
The Republican led Surge worked and Iraq has seen a downturn in violence. Obama
is now flip-flopping like the spineless fish that he is.
After months of Hillary
and Bill attacking Obama, they are now "uniting" with him. Of course,
Hillary has still not conceded and is still holding onto her delegates. She needs
millions of dollars to pay off her campaign debts. She couldn't even run a successful
primary campaign against an inexperienced and ignorant Obama, let alone the country.
