The Liberal Media Playbook
What do you do when you are an interviewer for a leading liberal TV "news" show and you don't like the answers you're getting to your questions? If you're Lesley Stahl of CBS' 60 Minutes,' you enrage the person you're interviewing.
Stahl was interviewing the new president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. Sarkozy was going on and on about what he liked about America. 60 Minutes only wants to broadcast bad things and opinions of the US. So, to stop the interview, Stahl repeatedly asked questions about Sarkozy's wife, a subject that was previously agreed to be verboten.
Sarkozy told Stahl "If I had to say something about Cecilia, I would certainly not do so here." He then unclipped his microphone and walked out of the studio.
CBS is trying to play this as if Sarkozy was the bad guy. Certainly, investigative reporting by 60 Minutes uncovered the fact that Sarkozy and his wife were about to end their marriage. Stahl knew what buttons to push to end the interview.
The "news" the liberal media are trying to spin is Sarkozy walking out of the interview. The news they are trying to hide is the fact that the new president of France is very pro-American.
France and Canada are two liberal countries that have had their economies destroyed by socialist entitlement plans. The same type of plans that Hillary has for the US. Liberal elitists such as the media in the US have pro-socialist/communist agendas. They, like the former Soviet Union, are doomed to fail. France and Canada have finally seen the light of truth, but it may be too late for them.
