The Liberal Darwin Awards
You've heard of the Darwin Awards where people are celebrated for removing themselves from the gene pool. This is our liberal version of the dubious distinction.
With the original Darwin Awards, people usually do something inadvertently stupid which results in their death. The TLG version is when liberals do something deliberately stupid that also results in their knowingly eliminating themselves from the gene pool.
However, we all know that most of Darwin's theories have already been debunked. The more that is discovered in the search for proof of the theory of evolution, the more it is realized how incorrect it is.
There has been absolutely no direct link found that shows one species evolved from another. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of evidence to the contrary. Mostly it has been found that a species will suddenly appear and even coexist with the species from which they were originally thought to have evolved.
Evolution can not explain creation. Evolution can not explain why there are still species that have not evolved. For instance, if we came from lower primates, why are there still lower primates in existence? There are many other problems with the theory. So many in fact that it's difficult to understand why it is allowed to be taught as science in the public schools. The reason is political, not scientific.
Anyway, on to our new Liberal Darwin Awards.
Toni Vernelli, 35
It's not known why it took ten years to be announced, but the British woman, announced that she had an abortion ten years ago and was then sterilized. She said, "Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet." She also said her goal to have the abortion and to be sterilized was to keep her carbon footprint to a minimum.
It's doubtful that was truly Vernelli's reasoning back in 1997. After all, no one, not even Vice President Al Gore was talking about "carbon footprints" then. More than likely, she and her animal rights activist husband were simply inconvenienced and now are rationalizing her stupidity. Supporting this opinion is Vernelli saying," (we) have a much nicer lifestyle as a result of not having children," as she spoke of her flight to South Africa. Wonder how much jet fuel the two burned? Regardless, TLG congratulates her for reducing the chances that she will indoctrinate more children to the way of the liberal cause. No mention of hubby having a vasectomy.
Sara Irving, 31 and Mark Hudson, 37
After dating for about a year, the two decided to each be sterilized. Irving said, "a baby would pollute the planet."" Hudson said, "It would be morally wrong for me to add to climate change and the destruction of Earth...we live as green a life as possible."
Again, congratulations! Two more liberals that will hopefully never parent a child. By the way, have they wondered why their leader, Al Gore , had four children? Lastly, rather than spend a lifetime with any carbon footprint, why don't they simply exercise their pro-choice mentality further and end their miserable existence? With logic like theirs, it won't be long before a environmental-fascist uses saving the planet as justifiable homicide.
