There's Only One Word for Him: LIAR
Barack
Hussein Obama who promised "change" and part of that "change"
was to be no earmarks. Earmarks are the pet spending projects of politicians.
They are added to a bill that has nothing to do with the main part of the bill.
Case
in point: the $410 billion "Omnibus" bill. It carried about 9,000 earmarks;
both Republican and democrat earmarks.
Today, Obama broke yet another promise
and signed the bill. He had already broken the promise, "We need earmark
reform, and when I’m president, I will go line by line to make sure we’re
not spending money unwisely," by signing the trillion dollar Porkulus spending
bill not only not going "line by line," but without even reading it.
Obama
has rationalized his signing of a pork-laden bill by saying it was left over business
from the previous administration. That's another lie. Nancy Pelosi held onto the
bill, until after Obama was elected. Pelosi knew that George W Bush was set to
veto it.
Then Obama has the nerve to further insult our intelligence when he
said, "I am signing an imperfect omnibus bill because it is necessary for
the ongoing functions of government. But I also view this as a departure point
for more far-reaching change."
"Departure point?" No, signing
the bill was a continuation point for business as usual. A veto would be a "departure
point." There was no emergency that demanded this bill be passed. Obama should
have vetoed it and sent it back to have it rewritten.
However, did anyone...anyone,
including the democrats, that expected Obama to actually keep his word? No, the
democrats were expecting him to break his promise and sign it. Sadly, the Republicans
who authored some 40% of the earmarks did not take the opportunity to remove their
own.
Lastly, Obama signed the bill without an audience. Only the production
crew that taped it and his teleprompter were there; because without a teleprompter,
Obama can't speak. If someone wanted to take over the government, all they would
have to do is hack into his teleprompter. Obama will read anything that is put
in front of him. He's simply an inept puppet.
