No Intelligence, No Experience!
Obama
has decided to nominate Leon Panetta as his choice to head up the CIA. This is
an incredibly stupid move for our country.
Panetta has absolutely no experience
in the intelligence community. Then again, Obama has absolutely no experience
to be president, but that goes without saying.
Actually, Panetta was going to
be Obama's choice for Secretary of Commerce, but he gave that nomination to the
biggest political ass kisser there is, democrat Governor Bill Richardson of New
Mexico. Richardson just removed his name from contention.
How was poor Barry
to know that Richardson is on the verge of being arrest for a "pay-to-play"
scam that is very similar to democrat Illinois Governor Blagojevich? Richardson
had been under investigation for giving huge multi-million dollar state contracts
only to those that "donated" money to him. That's another story.
Panetta
is more of the same from the empty head of Obama. Panetta was Bill Clinton's Chief
of Staff while Clinton was in the White House. How is Panetta, who couldn't even
notice the scandals brewing right under his nose, run the CIA?
Panetta is against
everything that has kept us safe from terrorists since Bush removed the legal
barriers between the CIA, FBI and other law enforcement groups placed there by
Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Those barriers prevented our law enforcement agencies
from sharing information that could have prevented the terrorist attacks of 9-11.
Even
the democrats are upset at this Obama gaff. Democrat Dianne Feinstein was especially
angered that she first heard of the nomination from a reporter asking her to confirm
the then rumor of Obama's pick. Feinstein is just starting her job as the head
of Senate Intelligence Committee. Yes, "Senate Intelligence Committee"
is an oxymoron just as is the "Senate Ethics Committee." However, one
would think that Obama would have at least consulted with Feinstein before word
got out about his bonehead choice.
