It Takes a Liberal to be More Stupid than Paris Hilton
Los Angeles sheriff Lee Baca, true to his liberal democrat nature, has once again displayed his ignorance and stupidity. If you recall, Baca is the one who demands that taxes be raised or he'll release convicted, violent criminals on the public. Baca, elected to provide law and order, is simply a Barney Fife. Wearing five gold stars on both sides of his collar, he looks more like a banana republic dictator wearing medals for honors he really never received.

Like most democrats, Baca thinks he is above the law and can do as he pleases. In the wee hours of June 7th, the Baca decided to release Paris Hilton after serving about 75 hours of a 20-day sentence.

Update 06/16/2007 There seems to be some confusion from the emails we have received. We are not saying that Lee Baca is a democrat. He is currently registered as a Republican. However, we are comparing Baca to democrats as he himself seems to be confused as to which party he represents. Apparently, he felt that registering as a Republican would help him get elected. Make no mistake, no matter how he is registered, Baca is a liberal. Update 06/10/2007 Paris Hilton says she has dropped her appeal. She is in the jail's medical facilities and that probably has fulfilled her need for constant attention. Her attorney and sheriff Lee Baca claimed she had a "medical issue." They would not disclose the details. Thus, the only conclusion is that Hilton is suffering from withdrawal symptoms of drug abuse and addiction. Hilton's attorney released a statement saying that Hilton said, "being in jail is the hardest thing I have ever done." She also is reported to have said that she is "learning and growing" from the experience. It is doubtful that Hilton actually said any of that and was most likely contrived by her attorney or publicist. Maybe Hilton will take the time to learn how to read something other than TV Guide. No word yet on whether Baca will be held in contempt of court. However, he undoubtedly has been privately reprimanded by the city of Los Angeles. He waved a piece of paper in the air during a press conference saying that it was the medical information that backed up his decision to violate the court orders. Of course, Baca would not share the contents of the paper. Suspicions are high that it is simply a toxicology report showing that Hilton is under the influence of drugs still in her system. Hilton's last court appearance suggested that she was showing signs of withdrawal from hard drug abuse. One thing is clear, Los Angeles needs a new sheriff.

To understand why Baca's decision was not only wrong, but illegal, let's look at the circumstances surrounding the event:

September 7, 2006
Paris Hilton was arrested for driving under the influence after being spotted driving erratically.

September 26, 2006
Hilton charged for the crime for which she was arrested.

January 9, 2007
Hilton's lawyers enter a not guilty plea for her.

January 15, 2007
Hilton was pulled over by California Highway Patrol and acknowledged that she was not suppose to drive on a suspended license. (In California, your driver license is automatically suspended for being charged with driving under the influence.)

January 27, 2007
Hilton pleads no contest (guilty) to a reduced charge of alcohol-related reckless driving. She is placed on three years of probation, ordered to enroll in alcohol education and fined $1500.

February 27, 2007
Hilton is pulled over again, this time driving on a suspended license. The January 15th document where she acknowledged her license was suspended was found her glove compartment.

May 4, 2007
Hilton is sentenced to 45 days in jail for disobeying the court and driving with a suspended license.

May 16, 2007
Hilton is given another break and the time in jail is reduced to 23 days. She is to be given a special cell for only herself.

May 17, 2007
After getting the reduced sentence and the special jail accommodations, Hilton drops her appeal of the sentence.

June 3, 2007
Hilton reports to jail late in the evening.

June 7, 2007
At approximately 2am, sheriff Lee Baca releases Hilton to home confinement in her spacious Hollywood hills home.

The judge's order specified that Hilton was not to be released early and not to be released from jail to home confinement. Like Hilton, Baca thinks that the rules don't apply to him. The judge then ordered the sheriff to bring Hilton back to court where he sentenced her to serve the full 45 days in jail.

For the record and those liberals that think that the sentence was too harsh for Hilton:

•  Hilton was given several breaks that the average citizen never would have received
•  Hilton drove twice on a suspended license ignoring the court
•  In 2005, 16,889 traffic deaths were caused by driving under the influence

Every once in a while, liberal elitists run into reality. Hey, Baca, it's the Simple Life and you just proved yourself to be more stupid than the ignorant/stupid Paris Hilton.
