Laughing at Your Misery
The economy is in shambles due to democrat policies and looting and all Obama
can do is laugh. Even interviewer Steve Kroft of the liberal CBS 60 Minutes program
noticed it. At one point, Kroft asked Obama, "You're sitting here and you're
laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look
at this and say, 'I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money?' How
do you deal with---I mean, explain---Are you punch-drunk?"
The past two
weekends, Obama has sent his economic advisor, Christine
Romer, out to do the talk show circuit. She even chuckles through her interviews.
She is unable to answer any questions sufficiently. That's not surprising when
one realizes that she has absolutely no practical experience and Obama's economic
policies make absolutely no sense, even to an academic.
So, what's so funny?
Why is it that Obama has to chuckle, laugh and have that dopey grin when he's
being interviewed on a sensitive subject? Well, Obama's answer to Kroft was to
laugh and say, "No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you
through the day!"
"Gallows humor?" Is he finally admitting that
this economy is to be executed?
No, the reason Obama and Romer are laughing
is simply that they are on the defensive. They know they are in deep trouble and
they are simply trying to cover it with jocularity. In other words, it's a nervous
habit.
So, the next time you see Obama laughing while talking about a serious
subject, you know he's nervous and is lying and obfuscating.
