Another Crook the Liberal Media Won't Identify as a Democrat
Back
in March when Detroit's youngest elected mayor was charged with multiple counts
of perjury, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and misconduct in office, the liberal
media reported it. However, they neglected to mention that mayor Kwame Kilpatrick
is a democrat.
To the Detroit city council's credit, they voted for Kilpatrick
to resign. Of course, being a democrat, Kilpatrick refuses to do the honorable
thing and remains as an embarrassment to the city of Detroit.
And why not? After
all, now former Washington D.C. mayor democrat Marion Berry was caught on video
smoking crack with a prostitute in a hotel room. He not only wouldn't resign,
but was reelected. Even former president Clinton, a democrat, who lost his license
to practice law after being convicted of lying under oath during a sexual harassment
lawsuit wouldn't resign. Then there's democrat congressman William
Jefferson, who was caught diverting a hurricane Katrina relief convoy to his
home to get some bribe money out of his freezer. He's still in office.
Well,
democrat Kilpatrick is back in the news. He was ordered to remain in the state
to await trial. Like any true democrat, Kilpatrick violated the terms of his bail
and went to Canada. When he returned he was thrown in jail. After spending the
night in jail, Kilpatrick's lawyer was able to find a liberal judge to release
him.
As he was released, he was immediately charged with another crime, assault
on a peace officer. It seems that Kilpatrick didn't like being served with more
legal papers by a detective.
Now, the Detroit city council has asked the governor
to use a little-known law that gives the governor the power to remove Kilpatrick
from office. So far, the governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, has not done
anything. Did TLG mention she is a democrat?
