Think Your Vote Doesn't Count? You're Right!
California voters voted overwhelmingly (again) to ban same-sex marriage. The first
time, it was simply a law that the state's liberal Supreme Court overturned. This
time the California voters amended their state constitution to make it constitutional
to ban same-sex marriage.
Now, former "Governor Moonbeam", Jerry Brown,
who is the state's attorney general, wants the California State Supreme Court
to Void Proposition 8 that amended the state's constitution. Brown says that it
deprives a minority group (gays) of a fundamental right.
Sorry, Jerry, maybe
you smoked too much dope today or you're just burned out from all the acid you
dropped. Proposition 8, the state's amendment that bans same-sex marriage, does
not violate anyone's right let alone a minority class.
The amendment does not
state that gays and lesbians can not marry. It simply states that marriage must
be between a man and a woman. This has been the case for over 5,000 years in every
part of the world and every major religion.
If a gay or lesbian wants to marry
in California, they can. They just need to marry someone of the opposite sex.
That's also true for heterosexuals. So, Jerry, what's the problem? It's you and
the liberals that just cannot accept the will of the people.
Don't be surprised,
if the California Supreme Court denies the will of the people. It won't be long
before the people will say enough is enough and take matters into their own hands.
Liberals are fast approaching their day of reckoning.
