James Carville Keeps Spinning
Interviewed by the liberal Politico, the left-wing Associated Press reported that James Carville thinks that the GOP will save the democrats.
For all of the spin Carville spews, one thing is certain: If Carville is talking, the democrats are in some sort of trouble. Remember the charges about sexual abuse perpetrated by Bill Clinton? Carville tried to brush it aside by saying, "Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find."
Now, Carville is saying that the GOP is imploding and that will allow the democrats to win the White House in 2008. To Carville's credit, he admits, "This is not like some great enthusiasm for Democrats out there." The midterm elections that resulted in the democrats regaining a majority in both houses were caused by voters voting against Republicans, not for democrats. That is a major problem for the democrats in 2008 and Carville knows it.
The democrats are in serious trouble. It has been revealed that Hillary admitted creating the liberal web site MediaMatters.org. MoveOn.org has been exposed along with the New York Times as being nothing more that democrat front organizations. Denouncing Rush Limbaugh by lying about what he actually said and in what context was a big mistake. So, the democrats internal polling must be showing them to be lacking in the credibility department.
Carville sees the writing on the wall. Hillary is way out in front for the democrat party's choice for president. Carville knows all of the scandals of the Clinton years. He knows the Republicans will remind the nation of Travelgate, Vincent Foster's suspicious death with Hillary having his office ransacked, the national healthcare scam, cattle futures scam, the "vast right-wing conspiracy" excuse, her missing law firm documents turn up in the president's residence, testifying that she couldn't recall over 200 times, illegal campaign donations, etc. It goes on and on and on...and that's just Hillary, nothing to do with disgraced Bill "No Legacy" Clinton.
If Carville is talking, then the democrats are in serious trouble. By their failed attempt to take out Limbaugh, they have simply awakened a sleeping giant. Good news from Iraq is bad news for the democrats. As a matter of fact, any good news is trouble for the democrats. Democrats try to make everything a crisis. Like the boy who cried wolf, people have stopped listening to them.
As much as Carville would like to believe that Republicans are imploding, they are not. The GOP has its share of scandals. However, unlike democrats, they throw the bums out. The democrats will say and do anything to keep the attention off of what they do best, which is steal your hard earned money to pay for entitlement programs for lazy liberals and illegal immigrants. No one can spin better than Carville, but now that we all know the truth, it's simply entertaining.
