The Hail Mary
You're
an inexperienced liberal democrat who can't speak without a teleprompter. When
you do speak, you look like the absolute idiot you really are. Your choice for
a VP running mate was a poor one. You got virtually no bounce from the democrat
national convention. Your attempt to link Bush to McCain has failed and even the
most respected democrat, Joe Lieberman, is against you. To put the cherry on the
top of this disastrous campaign, your opponent has made a brilliant pick for a
running mate in Governor Sarah Palin.
So, you've already tried playing the race
card and it backfired. You also lost a large portion of the female vote due to
stupidly disrespecting Hillary Clinton. Not even Bill was able to cause that to
happen.
Next, you try smearing Governor Palin with lies. Not yourself, no, you
use your liberal media friends (ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS, New York Times, Washington
Post, etc.) to do your dirty work for you. Good thing, because it backfired, too.
Now, you're low on campaign money while you've just caused an avalanche of financial
support to flood into John McCain's coffers.
Nothing has worked. What do you
do, what do you do?
Well, if you're the slimy duo of Obama and Biden, you try
one last ditch attempt. You try to use the hate you believe is out there for George
Bush to your advantage. You make speeches telling your supporters that you will
pursue criminal charges against George Bush once you're elected to the presidency.
This too will backfire badly. Here's why:
The only ones that agree with this
stupidity are Obama's extremist liberal supporters. It won't gain him any votes
from those still on the fence and will lose votes from the few moderates he has
left. Secondly, George Bush hasn't violated any laws. So, the "criminal charges"
Obama and Biden say they are going to pursue don't exist.
If such violations
did exist, the democrat-controlled congress would have already brought up impeachment
proceedings. If you'll recall, that was one of the rumors the democrats spread
just before the 2006 elections. Congress hasn't even prosecuted their own William
Jefferson for the $100,000 bribe he took as well as diverting a hurricane
Katrina relief convoy to pick up some of that cash hidden in his freezer.
It's
about two months from the general elections and the Obama/Biden team can see the
writing on the wall. This is their Hail Mary, all hope is lost, throw into an
end zone that has nothing but Republicans waiting to intercept it and ram it right
back down their lying throats.
