Global Warming Paradox
Typical of the liberal hysteria surrounding the theory of global warming, NBC Nightly News also exhibited the hypocrisy of the doom and gloom crowd. They reported that global warming is not only happening, but scientists say that it is "probably" caused by man. They went on to report how Al Gore has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on global warming and that his science fiction movie, Inconvenient Truth, has been nominated for an Academy Award.
What made Thursday night's (02/01/2007) NBC newscast a hoot was what they reported after all their ranting about global warming. After the commercial break, NBC reported on the "deep freeze" that has hit the United States and the poor animals that are dying from the cold. Wait a minute...not one person has ever died from the fantasy called global warming, yet animals are dying from the cold weather. Dozens of people died from blizzards in Europe recently.
However, the liberals have actually gone a bit too far. They now claim that the media hasn't reported global warming enough. That's right, they actually think that every mainstream TV, radio and newspaper hasn't alerted the public to global warming.
The fact is so-called greenhouse gasses do not trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere. Not only that, but actual greenhouses don't work that way, either. Even if the liberal junk science were correct, nature produces far more of these gasses than mankind could ever produce. It's like spitting into the ocean. For instance, Mount Pinatubo spewed out more pollution in one eruption than all of mankind had since the Industrial Revolution. By the way, that summer (1991), was one of the coolest on record.
The "scientists" spewing their own greenhouse gasses have at least admitted that there is absolutely nothing humans can do to stop global warming, if it even exists.
