High Gas Prices...What's
the "Plan?"
Well,
it's been about two years since the democrats running for the senate and the house
claimed, among other things (Iraq, the economy, etc.) that they had a plan to
reduce gas prices. That was when gas was averaging just over $2 a gallon.
Fast
forward to today. The average price per gallon is close to $4. House Republicans
sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi asking her for "the plan." Specifically,
Pelosi claimed two years ago that the democrats had a "commonsense plan...to
lower gas prices."
Forget about their "First
100 Hours." Since these liberal lunatics were elected by a public fooled
again, the economy has gone from boom to bust. Foreclosures are at an all-time
high. So are gas prices.
Now, we have the daffy duo of Hillary and Obama
trying to tell us that they have a plan. Their plan is to tax the oil companies.
Just how will the oil companies pay for the tax? They will raise gas prices.
Democrats
fail to realize that no nation has ever been taxed into prosperity. Taxes serve
one purpose: Oppression.
Sure, you're angry that gas costs so much. Don't
take it out on the oil companies. Take it out on the democrats. They're the ones
that caused this whole mess. How far do you want them to let them go to completely
destroy the American way of life? Can you imagine what would happen should they
also control the White House?
While McCain isn't the first choice of TLG,
it is far better than either (or both) Hillary and Obama.
