Michael J FoxMichael J. Fox
Michael J. Fox became the latest victim to be exploited by the liberals. He was used for a TV commercial for Missouri Democrat Senate candidate Claire McCaskill. The TV shot of Fox was a close-up while he jittered wildly from side to side throughout the political ad to draw attention to his battle with Parkinson's disease. In the ad, Michael J. Fox virtually blamed George W. Bush for his disease.

Fox appears to be a likeable guy from the characters he has played during his career as an actor. He's not so likeable as the bitter liberal he has become. Fox, apparently blames conservatives in general, and George W. Bush in particular for his disease, by not supporting stem cell research with our tax dollars. The majority of the research is done with stem cells from aborted babies.

Fox's demagoguery is even more ironic, considering his own wealth and the wealth of the entertainment community. We don't see them lining up to donate their millions, earned from us, for stem cell research. They may, now, due to the publicity it will buy them. However, Madonna did get a very cute African baby the other day as an accessory, rather than some small dog. Then there's Barbara Streisand spending millions to destroy coastal land for her own enjoyment and shopping for Hummers with husband/toy, James Brolin. Then there's Bill and Hillary Clinton, with how many homes and offices?...Well, you get the idea.

Rush LimbaughRush Limbaugh commented on his radio show about how Fox was either acting or off his medication to dramatize his condition. While no one doubts the seriousness of Fox's battle with Parkinson's disease, the political ad came off as a stunt, and discredited the actor. Rush took some heat from the liberal media even after apologizing later in the same broadcast; but overall, most of the public reaction was negative for Michael J. Fox using a disease as a political weapon. As most understand, Parkinson's disease does not hesitate to cross party lines.

Katie CouricFox did some backpedaling in a follow-up interview with Katie Couric, who is attempting to shore up her own sliding ratings at CBS. He said he wasn't off his medication and was actually over medicated, whatever that means. He then tried to make nice by mentioning a couple of Republicans he does like, possibly in an attempt to avoid the fate of the Dixie Chicks after they spouted off with their own political ignorance some time ago.

This is so very typical of the liberals. It's is right out of their playbook. If you recall, the last victim they exploited was Christopher Reeve of Superman fame, who became a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse. Again, the target of their attacks were Republicans and blaming them for not spending taxpayer dollars for using the tissue of aborted babies.

The fact is that stem cell research has had no real success. The liberals and democrats seem to have very short memories. It was South Korean Dr. Hwang Woo-suk who claimed a major breakthrough with stem cell research. He left his position at Seoul National University in disgrace as being proven as a fraud. Since, no major advancements have been reported in stem cell research other than junk science.

Michael J. Fox himself notes that he has battled Parkinson's disease for "over a decade." Let's see, who was in office then...that's right, Bill Clinton. Oh, yes, Bill Clinton was also president, for eight years of Christopher Reeve's "recovery" from his 1985 accident. Of course, Reeve died during the Bush administration, so it must be the Republicans' fault.

Well, Clinton and Gore both alluded to how the lame would walk and the blind would see, if only we would keep electing democrats. Those liberal claims aren't much of a stretch, after all, they made the dead vote.
