Family Discount
The
day Four-star General Petraeus was to deliver his findings on Iraq and "the
surge," the democrat organization MoveOn.org placed a full-page ad in the
New York Times calling him a liar. This was before anyone, but the general, knew
what he was going to say. By the way, the surge is working.
Such a full-page
ad normally costs about $182,000 to run in New York's liberal rag. However, it
was discovered that MoveOn.org only paid $65,000. That's a whopping $115,000 discount!
Usually, the New York Times just allows liberals to spew their tripe on their
editorial pages for free. The magic number of $65,000 was probably determined
using tax write-offs so that MoveOn.org will actually pay nothing and the NYT
will not be taxed for any revenue.
What is really funny is that only liberals
read and believe what the NYT writes. It's long been known that their "reporters"
have fabricated stories and ran interviews that never have occurred. Interestingly,
the MoveOn.org ad had vastly inflated casualty numbers for Iraq compared with
the NYT for that very same day. So, the liberal readers of the NYT will have to
determine which lie to believe.
Now, we can expect that opposing viewpoints
will ask for the same discount and the dopey NYT will have no legal choice other
than to comply. Liberals shooting themselves in the foot, again. You have to love
it!
