Hillary Plants False Rumor
A nasty rumor was floated that Hillary had dirt on Barack Obama, a scandal that would hurt his campaign. Columnist Robert Novak heard about the rumor and wrote about it in his column.
The take on the rumor was that Hillary had information on a scandal involving Obama. There was no word on what the scandal involved. However, Hillary wasn't going to use it because she wanted to be noted for being above slinging mud.
Hillary denied any knowledge of such information, after Obama demanded that she tell the world what she thinks she knows about him.
In actuality, Hillary has no such information about Obama, yet had her people plant the rumor for three reasons. Firstly, she wanted to enrage Obama. Secondly, she wanted to appear as Novak stated, above mudslinging. Most importantly, she was using it as a defense mechanism.
The fact is that Hillary has a huge number of scandals from her past including many that have yet to be broadcast. Her fear is that Obama knows something that will destroy her and he is sitting on it, until the time is right. Her starting the rumor that was fed to Novak was in hopes that there was something in Obama's past that he doesn't want the world to know. Hillary thought that Obama would be afraid to share what he knows, if he thought Hillary could counter it.
Obama is a liberal, but he's a fairly honest liberal. Misguided, but not a crook like Hillary, Obama called Hillary's bluff and she folded like the house of cards that makes up her persona.
Hillary continues to campaign against Bush, who isn't even running. However, her true goal is to destroy her democrat rivals before the truth about her dishonesty is too nasty for even the democrats to ignore.
The Republicans are standing by as Hillary will self-implode much the way Howard Dean did. They are hoping she will survive long enough to win the democrats' nomination before she reaches critical mass. It will be far easier to beat a Hillary with her scandal-ridden past than the other challengers.
