Someone Needs to Tell Mother Nature About Global Warming
The National Weather Service, also known as NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) reported warnings on a "winter" storm yesterday. The report stated, "A large scale winter storm will move from the southwest United States and Rockies through the Central Plains and into the northeastern states this weekend. Numerous Winter Storm Watches from the central Rockies through the Plains to the Great Lakes have been changed to warnings. The storm will bring a mixture of heavy rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain to a large portion of the nation."
There was only one minor problem with the report. It is still fall and winter is about three weeks away! True, "winter" could also mean the colder half of the year. Also, a cruise ship struck an iceberg and sunk near Antarctica this past week. By the way, it's almost summer in the southern hemisphere. The way the "experts" speak of global warming, neither of these events could possibly be true.
The liberal spin will likely be that global warming caused the ice to melt and an iceberg floated into a shipping lane or some other such nonsense. Maybe the crew didn't think there were any icebergs left due to global warming.
On November 27, Meacham, Oregon had a record low temperature of 2 degrees (Fahrenheit). That was 12 degrees colder than the previous record set in 1952.
Yesterday, Canada's national weather service, Environment Canada, released their seasonal forecast. It predicts lower than normal temperatures for the next three months in every province and territory.
Yes, Mother Nature is pulling the proverbial rug out from under the global warming "experts." Much the way it made Al Gore look like the fool that he is when he went to give a speech on global warming in New York and it turned out to be a near record low on January 14, 2004.
It's important to note that with the heavy political need for liberals to control people's lives with the threat of global warming, their "experts" like to sample from only relatively warm weather stations. That way, they can state that the global average temperature is rising and back it up with their cherry-picked facts.
People need to realize that global warming is nothing more than a scam to control free societies' way of life. The Earth has had, and will continue to have, record highs and lows. The inconvenient truth is that time will prove the doom-and-gloomers wrong.
