Dumber Still
Bill
Clinton jumped back into the fray trying to explain why Hillary should stay in
the race against Obama. Here is some of what he said:
"She's winning
the general election today, and he's not according to all the evidence. And I've
never seen anything like it. I've never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully
just for running."
Apparently, Bill has forgotten this is a democrat
primary race, not the general election. Now, one can only wonder whether he thinks
Obama is a Republican or a democrat. Not only that, but what "evidence"
is he citing? Every count real and potential has Obama beating Hillary for the
democrat nomination.
Bill, the general election will be this November and
it doesn't look like Hillary will be in it for either president or vice president.
Also,
which candidate was treated "disrespectfully?" You see, when Bill speaks,
we have to remember that he parses what he says. A reasonable person would look
at Bill's statement and assume that the candidate that is being disrespected is
Hillary. However, in Clinton-speak, Bill did not name the candidate. He could
just as easily be speaking of Obama and how he was disrespected when Bill
himself played the race card.
It's hard to tell whether Bill is trying
to help or hurt Hillary's chances.
