Obama and democrats Benefit from Media's Double Standard
In
the upcoming Sunday New York Times Magazine interview with Barack Hussein Obama,
the Messiah is upset that Fox News did not join the liberal media in hiding the
real Barack Hussein Obama.
Obama is quoted as saying Fox News exposes him as
"the latte-sipping, New York Times-reading, Volvo-driving, no-gun-owning,
effete, politically correct, arrogant liberal. Who wants somebody like that?"
Exactly, Obama! No one wants that and if more people knew the truth about you,
no one would vote for you.
Obama isn't satisfied with the phony poll numbers
such as yesterday's CBS/NYT poll that had him ahead of McCain by 14 points. No,
Obama said, "I am convinced that if there were no Fox News, I might be two
or three points higher in the polls." Actually, if there were no Fox News,
no one would even know that John McCain is even running. As it stands now, many
voters who rely on the liberal media for their information are going to be surprised
not to see President Bush's name on their ballots. After all, Obama has been trying
to make this election a referendum on Bush.
The liberal media's bias goes even
further. It has a double standard when it comes to covering democrats and Republicans.
Democrats like Obama are given a pass. They are never challenged and when they
do something incredibly stupid, the liberal media has a habit of not mentioning
it. However, when it's a Republican, even a small ambiguity in what is said is
always reported in the worst possible way.
Case
in point: Republican congressman Mark Foley was caught sending sexually explicit
text messages to a congressional page who was underage. Mark Foley did the honorable
thing and resigned and his seat was taken by democrat Tim Mahoney.
Mahoney was
elected running on a platform that promised to restore morality and values in
government. It was just revealed that the married politician had been having multiple
affairs while he was running for office and after he was elected. One of the women
worked for him and was fired after she broke off their relationship. Mahoney paid
over $120,000 to keep her quiet. Fortunately, the woman was smart enough to record
Mahoney screaming at her that she better keep quiet among other threats and disparaging
remarks.
Of course, Mahoney wants to keep this quiet and has stated that this
is his "private life." Where have we heard that before? Anyway, when
you're literally screwing around with subordinates and they refuse to have sex
and you fire them for it, it's no longer your "private life." It's called
sexual harassment and it's against the law.
Mahoney rationalized it by saying
that he didn't use campaign funds to pay her to keep quiet. Oh, that explains
why Pelosi and other democrat leaders in the House were covering for you. Sexual
harassment, cheating on your wife and lying to get elected are okay, as long as
you don't use campaign funds. Tell us, Mahoney, how you didn't use campaign funds
to promote your lies of morality and values while you were having the affairs.
The
democrats are known for their duplicity. It's understandable. Democrats are the
party of lies and deception. However, for the media to not cover the shady backgrounds
of Obama and to give scum like Mahoney no scrutiny at all is unforgivable. The
media spent five full weeks attacking Foley until Mahoney was elected.
The same
liberal media has spent weeks trying to find dirt on Governor Sarah Palin and
years on McCain. They got zip, zilch, nada, nothing. Just imagine what they're
hiding about Barack Hussein Obama.
