Free Speech, Unless the Liberals Don't Like It
Another celebrity has made a racial slur. Radio personality Don Imus jokingly referred to Rutgers' women's basketball team as...sit down...this is really bad..."nappy-headed hos." Of course, the usual bunch of self-appointed black leaders, such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, expressed their outrage.

Okay, it was a stupid comment from a washed-up disc jockey trying to be funny and hip. The problem is Imus forgot that he is white and is not allowed to say anything about blacks. Has anyone listened to what black rappers say about black women? That can't even be printed here, but Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson don't seem to mind.

If you aren't sure what Imus meant, you don't listen to enough "quality" rap "music." The term "hos" is slang for "whores." Even if he had just used the term "nappy-headed," he would still be in the same position. Stevie Wonder can sing about being nappy-headed, but no white person should ever use the term. As a matter of fact, Imus probably wouldn't have been in trouble, if he had simply called them "hos." Don, it was the "nappy-headed" part that pushed you over the edge. You see, there is a disclaimer on the First Amendment. You probably never saw, but it reads, "No white person can say anything about black people, but black people can say anything they want about anybody of any race." It's in very small print on the back of the Constitution.

The ironic thing here is that Imus is a liberal himself. He must be shocked at the way other liberals turned on him. Imus thought that because he is liberal, he would be "allowed" to say something like that. Looking over Imus' career, that was one of the mildest things he has said in commentary.

Imus has since made apologies. However, that is not what the liberal jackals want. They want a racial sideshow. Does anyone truly believe Imus was trying to be racist? No, he was trying to be funny. If anything, he should apologize for his poor attempt at being a comedian. If a black comedian had said this, no one would have even noticed.
