It's Socialism, Stupid
Obama
gave a brief speech yesterday afternoon after a G8 summit meeting. This time,
he didn't use a teleprompter. He read robotically from a script at the podium.
As usual, he looked back and forth to his right and to his left; at no one in
particular and never at the camera. However, it was very noticeable that he was
reading as he spent an equal amount of time looking down at his script. After
this mundane oratory, he actually admitted that the follow-up questions would
be asked from a predetermined list and pointed to a "journalist" for
the first question.
The journalist asked the prearranged question for Obama
to describe the personal account he gave during the meeting. Obviously, this question
was given to the journalist from the White House as the journalist would never
have known that Obama had given such an account. Then the BS started to flow.
While the account he gave at the meeting was just as bogus as everything he does,
it did give us all some insight that Obama still just doesn't get it.
Obama
said that he told of how his father was Kenyan and went to the United States to
study. He then compared Kenya to South Korea. He used this same comparison in
a prepared speech he later gave in Ghana; more evidence that the question and
answer to the journalist's question in Italy was contrived. He said, "Countries
like Kenya, which had a per capita economy larger than South Korea's when I was
born (circa 1961), have been badly outpaced." Obama went on to bash America,
"Yes, a colonial map that made little sense bred conflict and the West has
often approached Africa as a patron, rather than a partner."
Back at the
press conference in Italy, after making this comparison between Kenya and South
Korea, Obama said he asked the summit members, "Why is that?" Let's
see, Barack, could it be that Kenya is a socialist country filled with people
that have absolutely no motivation to succeed as their efforts are not rewarded
and South Korea is a capitalist democracy filled with hard-working people with
a strong work ethic? Do you think that could be the reason?
Obama, with his
"spread your wealth around" attitude (translated as take from those
who work and give to those that do not), can't understand South Korean prosperity.
He can't even understand why the United States is/was so powerful a nation, especially
as young as it is. It's because effort is rewarded. Is that so complicated for
Obama to understand? Obama then went on to boast how the summit had agreed to
throw more billions of dollars at the world's problems.
Before the summit, we
heard Joe Biden say, "We misread
how bad the economy was..." Huh? Barack Hussein Obama ran his campaign saying
that this was the worst economy since the Great Depression. In truth, the economy
was in far better shape than the economy President Ronald Reagan "inherited"
from Jimmy Carter. We never once heard President Reagan complain of how he inherited
Jimmy Carter's economy.
During the eight years of President George W Bush, the
democrats had been hammering how bad the economy is. Bush took over a recession
that started during Bill Clinton's last summer in office and then had to contend
with the terrorist attacks of 9-11. Bush turned the economy around and it was
booming all the while the democrats claimed otherwise. Then in 2006, the democrats
took control of both houses of congress. During the campaigns they had abandoned
the tactic of using the economy and switched to Iraq.
After winning control
over congress, it was clear that the war was not lost as democrat senator Harry
Reid had claimed. The war in Iraq had been won by the Surge. So, now what
were the democrats to use? The democrats now controlled the economy via the congress
and they instituted policies designed to make it fail while they looted it and
enriched themselves. Barack Hussein Obama was in the US senate at the time. This
is not the economy Obama inherited. It is the economy Obama helped create!
Today,
the democrats claim that the "stimulus" package has not taken effect.
They say that "only" 10% has been injected into the economy. They say
that the plan was to take time. At the same time, Obama has claimed that the stimulus
has worked. At first glance, this seems contradictory. That's because most want
to believe that the democrats and Obama want the economy to recover. The fact
is Obama wants the economy to get worse and fail completely. The stimulus plan
has "worked" in that it advances Obama's socialist agenda.
Apparently,
the democrats think we have all forgotten the rush to pass the Porkulus spending
package. They think we've forgotten how there wasn't even enough time to let anyone
read it. They think we've forgotten how they said this package was designed to
send an immediate jolt to the economy. They think we've forgotten how Obama waited
four days until after his Valentine's Day date with Michelle in Air Force One
to sign the bill. They think we've forgotten that they spent another 400+ billion
dollars with 9,000 earmarks of nothing but pork.
As Obama destroys the American
auto industry, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and is attempting to nationalize more
banks, the economy gets worse. There is no mystery here. This economy belongs
to a lying, socialist named Barack Hussein Obama. It's time to throw these bums
out of office!
