If Two Million Conservatives Protest and the Media Ignores
It, Does It Make a Sound?
Saturday,
September 12, 2009, two million conservatives converged on the nation’s capital
to protest Obama and the democrats’ non-representation. As far as the eye
could see from the steps of the capital past the Washington Monument, they stood
shoulder to shoulder. They carried homemade signs expressing their displeasure
over taxes, healthcare and socialism. There was no leader. No Messiah. This was
a true grassroots movement. Their numbers surpassed any demonstration in US history;
more than Obama’s inauguration. Yet, unless you were watching Fox News or
reports from the BBC, you never would have known about it.
The US government-run
media either didn’t report on it or tried to downplay it. They used terms
such as “thousands.” A few of the liberal rags were generous and called
it “tens of thousands.” The liberals can’t admit that hundreds
of thousands amassed; TWO MILLION!
Obama dispatched David
Axelrod to make the Sunday talk show circuit. Axelrod claimed that these protestors
don’t represent the majority of Americans. Despite their denials, the Obama
administration knows it’s in deep trouble. Poll after poll shows that these
protestors do, in fact, represent the majority of Americans and their numbers
are growing.
It’s more obvious than ever that the media is nothing
but a front group for the democrats. Like the phony grassroots organization MoveOn.org,
the media is simply another puppet of the democrats. It is now crystal clear as
to why Americans have almost completely stopped reading the newspapers. Virtually
no one watches NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc. Fox News has better ratings than
all of them combined for the simple reason that they report the truth.
The
silence of the mainstream media was deafening. The democrats are in power, but
out of control; the elections of 2010 loom. Americans are taking back their country.
Freedom will not be silenced.
