Obama: the Useful American Idiot
Obama, who can't even explain the difference between Russia's president and Russia's prime minister, found himself in Moscow playing chess with a grand master while Obama can barely play checkers. Sitting down with Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, Obama thinks he made progress with the Russians by signing an agreement to work toward a later agreement of reducing both country's nuclear arsenal. Putin must have been rolling on the floor laughing at Obama. The Russians call Obama "useful American idiot." Polling shows that the Russian people aren't fooled by Obama.

Before speaking with President Medvedev, Obama attempted to use the typical democrat trick of driving a wedge between President Medvdev and Prime Minister Putin. Obama said of Putin that he "has one foot in the old ways of doing business and one foot in the new." This was meant to antagonize Putin and bring Medvedev closer to Obama. It didn't work for the simple reason that Medvedev is a puppet of Putin's.

Putin was a bit slyer than banana republic dictators such as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Rather than declaring that he'll remain the leader of Russia indefinitely, Putin made himself prime minister and put up Medvedev as president and front man. This was lost on Obama. During a press conference, Obama was asked what the difference was between Russia's president and their prime minister. Obama displayed a child-like understanding using circle logic and replied, "My understanding is that President Medvedev is the president, Prime Minister Putin is the prime minister." So, Obama may sound like an idiot and look like an idiot, but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot; a useful American idiot.

The Russians play a very good game of chess. They were checkmated by President Ronald Reagan. Reagan's motto was trust, but verify. Obama has already promised to dismantle the United State's nuclear defenses. The Russians are going to say whatever Obama wants to hear and let Obama render the United States defenseless. As Obama is very pleased that he was able to get his checker piece crowned, the Russians were playing chess, not checkers.

Of course, they're going to allow the US to travel through Russian airspace so America can kill off the Taliban in Afghanistan. The Russians are letting America do their dirty work. The Russians will deal with America later. It's far easier to kick America out of Afghanistan than the Taliban. Obama; the useful American idiot.
