Harry & Danny, Proud of Yourselves?
It's old news (January, 2006) that Harry Belafonte called George W the "greatest terrorist in the world" while visiting the brutal dictator Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

More recently, actor Danny Glover had two movies financed by Hugo Chavez. This is after Hugo had called George W "Satan" while speaking in the US.

Glover and Belafonte have to be wondering what they were thinking now that Chavez stole oil industry from the private sector, stole the telephone companies from the private sector and as of yesterday, closed the only remaining private television station in Venezuela. Chavez didn't like the fact that the station opposed him.

RCTV had been on the air in Venezuela for 53 years. Chavez replaced it with a socialist broadcast of his own. Thousands of Venezuelans are protesting as their democracy has slipped away and has been replaced by dictator Hugo Chavez. Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte should be very proud.

So what do fans think of these celebrity endorsements? Hey, Lethal Weapon is still a good movie and who doesn't love the Banana Boat song?

Celebrities often confuse their entertainment popularity as agreement with their ignorant ideas. Glover and Belafonte are just two examples of ignorant fools.

We all loved Ted Danson in Cheers, but that doesn't make him an environmental expert. He told us in 1988 that the Earth had only ten years left.

Liberals love to attack George Bush and conservatives in general saying that our rights are being taken from us. However, liberals are the ones trying to outlaw just about everything they can. What they can't outlaw, they attempt to tax.

Let's see a liberal go to Venezuela and denounce Chavez as Satan. It's a safe bet that they would not return to the US, unless it was in a pine box.

So, liberal celebrities, get a clue. You are here to entertain us. You are but one step above the Court Jester. Your radical views are a symptom of your ignorance and stupidity. If you'll notice, the few celebrities that do get elected are conservatives. We are not all as stupid and ignorant as Cindy Sheehan.

By the way, we pay your salaries and support your out-of-touch lifestyle. So, when the song is over and the movie has ended, do us and yourselves a favor by keeping your mouths shut and not revealing how stupid and ignorant you really are.
